Climate Pledge Collective is a mom and pop climate shop run by two unpaid, student parents: Matt Lie-Paehlke and Myrtle Millares.

Technical Consultant:  Clarence Cheng, BASc, MASc.

Clarence is an electrical engineering graduate (UofT) with a master’s degree in energy systems (UofT).  He has worked in the energy and environment fields for 12 years on a variety of climate crisis mitigation topics including renewable electricity, energy efficiency standards, renewable natural gas, and electric vehicles.  Clarence makes sure we are pointing people towards the most efficient actions.

We’re also supported by lots of friends who pitch in on individual projects.

At least a dozen people shared their ideas and expertise for our Climate Crisis Ads and over a hundred donated!  Stefan Hegerat, Cassie Norton and Tania Gill played AND organized the music at our Climate Picnics.  Other volunteer musicians included Raging Grannies TorontoLaura TremblayLiam SmithJess Stuart, Arnd Jurgensen, Tristan Murphy, Lea Kirsten and Reenie Perovic (Citizen Jane), Jim Creeggan, Shrinehouse, and Ysabeault d’Valar-Alba.

AND we’re always in search of more volunteers!  We have a slack workspace where we discuss projects on the go, so you can participate from anywhere on your own schedule.  Get in touch (contact[at]climatepledgecollective.org) if you want to help!
